One sugar to go - a sellout success!

Sunday 18th April saw the stage of BamBOO @ Luxe Bar transform as contemporary artists and designers from Perth and beyond came together with local performers to present One sugar to go – an eclectic art exhibition with a difference.

Available for sale via auction, artworks utilised the medium of a take-away coffee cup. These normally throwaway items that litter streets and clog landfills the world over were reworked and transformed into works of art, promoting the themes of reuse, recycle and respect – with the proceeds from sale going to the Leukemia Foundation.

One sugar to go … the event putting an ‘up the anti’ into ‘oxidant’ as a stellar line-up of DJ’s, VJ’’s, performance art and BMX demo riders combined to showcase a cross section of contemporary culture whilst engaging community support for those affected by cancer.
